Biography
William is a technology and business leader with deep expertise in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and large-scale product engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a B.Eng. with First Class Honors from The University of Hong Kong. After more than 25 years in the United States, he relocated to Taiwan and now serves as a senior leader at a global semiconductor company, driving AI and digital innovation for strategic planning and enterprise intelligence. Previously, he held senior leadership roles in the data center and AI organization of a major U.S. technology company, where he led multi-billion-dollar product programs and advanced reconfigurable acceleration technologies leveraging 2.5D/3DIC architectures.
In parallel, William is an educator and lifelong learner. He teaches AI, machine learning, and executive strategy at leading universities in the U.S. and Asia, combining academic rigor with practical industry experience. His contributions have earned international recognition, including awards from IEEE and ACM. He has authored more than 20 publications in IEEE journals and conferences and holds multiple U.S. patents.
